The Challenge
After heavy rain events, the Hartley property experienced consistent water intrusion into the crawlspace and pooling against the foundation on three sides. Two previous contractors had attempted solutions — both failed within a season. The homeowners were considering a full foundation waterproofing system costing over $40,000.
Our Solution
We performed a full site elevation analysis and identified the root cause: a combination of improper lot grading from the original builder and a failed downspout drainage system routing water directly toward the foundation. Our solution was a 220-foot French drain network connected to a daylight outlet 80 feet from the structure, combined with complete regrading of the affected perimeter.
