The Challenge
The homeowners had a sloped, unusable backyard with poor drainage and no defined outdoor living space. They wanted a destination backyard — somewhere to entertain, relax, and spend time with family — without losing the natural character of the land.
Our Solution
We designed a multi-level natural stone patio that worked with the existing grade rather than against it, incorporating a dry-stacked retaining wall that doubled as seating. A custom fire pit was centered as the social anchor, with drainage channels integrated invisibly beneath the patio surface.
